Who is the target group of the congress?

Are you an executive director, consultant, data protection officer in a company or association, lawyer, risk manager or IT controller and do you have to face the challenge of implementing the GDPR?

In the course of our European congress we offer you a platform for the exchange of experiences and best practices with other economic operators and data protection professionals.

At the same time, you will have the opportunity to speak directly to representatives of the supervisory authorities and to discuss the sustainability of existing data protection laws.

We also want to give voice to companies to articulate their specific needs as well as their wishes and expectations regarding any adjustments to the relevant data protection laws. In this way, the companies affected by the GDPR are directly involved in the further development of data protection standards.

Why Luxembourg as host country?

Located in the heart of Europe, Luxembourg embodies with its language policy, multicultural population and the numerous European institutions having their official seat there par excellence the European idea of harmonious human collaboration across national, linguistic and cultural boundaries. Starting from data protection in Luxembourg, we will focus on Europe and the way the different countries are dealing with the General Data Protection Regulation.
